Last week I was re-watching my favorite film “Zigeunerweisen”, which has this eyeball licking scene (don’t ask. It’s a Japanese film) and wondering that shooting the scene must had been weird and takes some dedication in actors’ part even in the name of art - now the news report tells me that, in real life, there is an epidemic of pink eye due to the spread of unusual form of eyeball licking fetish among Japanese teenagers.
